Plow's legendary lemon ricotta pancakes are the reason locals willingly wait two hours on a weekend — light, perfectly balanced, and made with care you can taste in every bite. This deal gets two people in the door for the full Plow experience: housemade ingredients, generous portions, and the warm Dogpatch energy that turns first-timers into regulars. Put your name in, grab a coffee, and let Plow do the rest.
Popular brunch spot serving farm-to-table American comfort food in a cozy ambience.
“The wait at Plow can get over two hours (especially on the weekends), so be sure to put your name down ahead of time (or plan to wait)—the brunch potatoes are a must, but you can't order anything bad.”
“Long wait but deservedly so; It's the best brunch spot in SF for a reason. Their housemade Pork Sausage patties, Nueske's Bacon, and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are outstanding”
“Best breakfast in the city hands down. Worth the wait if you bring your own mimosas and coffees to sip on out on the curb. Pro tip: Put your name in and then walk up to the top of Potrero hill. View.”

“I'm not a carb eater but hands down the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had! So crispy! Other standouts are the chia seed pudding and almond flour pancakes!”
“I ordered the Plow because I figured you can't go wrong with the signature breakfast and I was not disappointed. This was the best breakfast I have had in the states. Well worth the line up!!”

Loved this place! One of the best breakfasts we have ever had. The lemon ricotta pancakes alone are worth driving here for. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were amazing. We also loved the homemade biscuit with honey butter and homemade jam. The owners and staff were very nice. It was a little pricey, but worth it and we will definitely be back.
Absolutely obsessed with this place. The atmosphere, the staff, and the food are truly out of this world. There is a reason there is a wait every weekend. The fried egg sandwich is unreal, and the prosciutto and gruyere toast is next level. Every dish feels thoughtful and perfectly executed. You can taste the quality in everything. I have been in four out of the last five days and still cannot get enough. The team is warm, welcoming, and makes you want to keep coming back. Hands down one of the best spots to eat in San Francisco.
Plow If you’re over in the State Streets area of San Francisco and need a late breakfast around 9–10 AM, this is a fantastic place to stop. I recently dropped my wife at the airport and swung by afterward — and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Busy enough on a weekday morning to know the food is great, but still running efficiently. That steady crowd is always a good sign. The food absolutely delivers. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and everything cooked just right. Their breakfast plates are hearty without feeling heavy, and the flavors are clean and well-balanced. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. What stood out just as much as the food was the service. Even with a full dining room, the team kept things moving with a positive, welcoming energy. It’s the kind of place where the consistency and hospitality make you understand why people show up for a late weekday breakfast. If you’re making an airport run from Santa Rosa like I was, this is a perfect stop on the way back. I’ll definitely be coming here again.
