My Persian fiend introduced me to this place in Del Mar’s main center. Totally authentic and delicious! We shared a main (salmon kabob) Shirazi salad and roasted eggplant dip with carmelizes onions, and took home half of the food (generous portions) It’s local family-run and has a back deck with a view as well as sidewalk and indoor seating. Full bar.
If you’re looking for some of the best authentic Persian food in San Diego, then Seaside Grill is the place to go. Its location and interior is beautiful, and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the Koobideh Kebab plate, which comes with your choice of two sides. They also serve you a completely bread and olive dish which pairs amazingly. Seaside grill is a staple in my restaurant rotation, will always be going here.
Went for lunch on a Sunday. It was our first time at the restaurant. We had looked at the menu online only to find out their menu on Sundays is limited; however, the gentleman was kind and let us order the combo fish taco plate for my daughter and the combo kebab plate for my husband and me. Also, the view and fresh air made it even more special. We will definitely come back when we are around the area.
We drove down from Temecula for a beach day and stopped here to eat. The food is amazing and the servings are huge. The service was wonderful. My wife, son and I had a great experience. Highly recommend.
All the food was great. The service was also great. The restaurant is casual but nice. Tables at the of the restaurant and outside patio do have some ocean view. Just two things things you need to be aware of. Credit card payment is accepted but has a 3.5% additional charge. You can avoid this by paying in cash. Second, prices are higher than other similar restaurants. It's about $50.00+ per person without any alcohol beverage. They do offer a good variety of spirits. Remember, not all middle eastern restaurants are the same, different countries & regions have similar plates but different flavors. Servings are pretty generous.
