Super Clean: Since it’s brand new, everything feels fresh, modern, and very well-kept. • Easy to Get Around: The layout is simple, so you won’t get lost finding your seats or the restrooms. • Great Sound: Whether you are there for a game or a concert, the audio quality is crisp and clear. • Friendly Staff: The people working there are helpful and make the entry process quick and easy.
Great location for North County residents. For really all of San Diego. The venue is modern with great sound system, small enough to walk around with Petco-like stadium food options. Like most sporting venues, the clear-bag dimensions are enforced, and you are no outside food/snack allowed. But bring a empty water flask because there is filtered watered there. Credit accepted, and typical stadium seating.
Enjoyed the Frontwave Arena while going there for the Zach Williams Revival Tour Oct 2025. I don't believe any seats are bass unless you're somehow behind the artist. The venue is not too large so you won't feel like you're in the nosebleed section anywhere. I walked around the whole arena on the main floor in about 5-6 minutes taking my time. It was pleasant there. The only negative drawback is their parking situation. First of all, it's ridiculously priced, $40 lot A close or $21 for dirt lot B, not that far away. Getting in and getting out is a madhouse and takes quite a bit of time. Expect to take 45 minutes to get out after an event. That's crazy, along with the parking prices. Minus 2 stars due to poor overall parking.
New and beautiful facility. Difficult to find the seating section. The numbers were very confusing and they were very few people to give guidance. Seats were hard. Lights during the music concert were so bright and flashing toward the audience that we could hardly look at the stage. The stage lighting was so dark you couldn’t see any performer except the one in the front. I’m hoping this varies by event.? The sound bounced around. I don’t think the arena is made for music. I know it’s used for indoor soccer games and indoor football games . Parking was pretty rough. We paid $20 to park on dirt. I had to drive in slow motion just to get there and it took a long time to get out. One road in, one out. Two lanes wide done of the time. The arena only held 7500 people so it should not have been that bad. I wished I had taken the Sprinter and walked up from there. The Sprinter is only two dollars per adult. Can’t bring in a sealed water bottle, only an empty one but the water in Oceanside tastes bad so bring a flavoring. Buying water can be a $6 purchase. Only bring clear purses. Had trouble with ticket purchase, waited in a very long line to rectify. Many people had trouble with tickets. Could take 5 min/person to get help. Only 2 windows open. Employees were all nice.
I finally got a chance to visit the new Frontwave Arena in Oceanside! I came out for Lisa Lisa's 40th Anniversary Can I Take You Home Tour. It's a great venue, especially to hold concerts and other events, but I would say the sound could use improvement. Better speakers and hsving them placed through the Arena would give it a full concert experience.
