Great place!! Excellent service!! Very clean and the food is delicious, I stop by almost every weekend, I’m never disappointed! Incredibly good coffee!! Very fast service as well!! Great food variety as well, everyone is really friendly and helpful as well! I highly recommend it! 🙌🏻

I grew up in La Jolla and would go to the original Broken Yolk location down in Pacific Beach often. I loved it then and still love it now. Every time I come to Broken Yolk I always get a great meal and service is always lightning fast. This Del Mar location is probably my favorite of all of them because there is a large free parking lot directly in front that is never too crowded and the servers are always very friendly here. It can get quite crowded some mornings, but usually it’s not as bad as some other places around town. The food is consistently good and the menu is very large so it’s a great option for breakfast on any occasion. Inside is quite large and can host many different sized groups from small to large. For this breakfast, I chose a Build Your Own Omelette and added the hollandaise on top which I highly recommend. This place is consistently great and I would confidently recommend it to anyone.

Breakfast here was really good. We had the chicken fried breakfast with fruit as well as the French toast. The gravy wasn’t my favorite kind but it was still very good. I added some salsa (made fresh) to my eggs and that put them over the top. Also had a homemade blueberry muffins. The French toast looked like homemade bread and it was very good. Huge slices of bread and fresh strawberries on the side. Overall this place was great. Parking lot had not issues and lots of space. The waitress was great and very friendly. Definitely will go back. Updated - I brought my family in and this place did not disappoint in any way. The server we had was excellent and extremely friendly. He was super friendly, attentive, and made the meal enjoyable. We had the Meatlovers Skillet, Avocado Toast, Chicken and Waffle Eggs Benedict. All if these were excellent. Very glad we could come back.

Food was scrumptious and employees were very pleasant and helpful. The Churro French toast gave me diabetes but I don't regret one bite! Definitely a delightful breakfast spot that has the standard fare and some current twists.

My avocado toast was great! Service was great, too. My husband and child split the club sandwich and it was a good portion for them to share.
