Step inside Laugh Factory San Diego and get closer to the comedy than you ever thought possible — the intimate stage layout puts you right in the action, not watching from a distance. Whether it's a seasoned headliner or a rising star you'll discover tonight, the energy in the room feels more like a party than a show. This is the kind of night your friends will wish they'd come to — grab your seats before someone else does.

3.5 stars...Been to this location twice so far, and the comedians have all been pretty good. The venue is definitely intimate and sound/sight lines are generally good. Unfortunately, both times they've claimed understaffing and it was difficult to get drink service the first time, and didn't get any at all the 2nd time (which is ironic because there was supposed to be a 2 drink requirement). The club has cocktails, wine and beer options, and has chips/salsa available off menu. Reserved seating in the front has tables and booths, and chairs throughout the venue are situated fairly closely together. I definitely recommend them for the quality of the acts, but hopefully the drink service improves as they hire additional staff.
Great staff & drinks! The venue is a large size but every seat feels up close. The laughs really fill the room & feels like a party.
We went on a slow night (20 people max on Thurs) and the performances were still on point!! Staff was great, and it felt like a private comedy show. I can only imagine the vibe with a packed house!! Highly recommend!!!
It felt like I was chaperoning a middle school dance. It was so awkward and it was basically the equivalent of cringy fart and penis jokes. When the audience wasn't laughing enough, the comedians would berate us, or even better, they would explain their jokes. You know there is nothing funnier than when you have to explain the jokes. 😬
Not bad. The two drink min felt like begging and killed the vibe for me. just wanted a water and they charged me 8 bucks for a poland springs. Id rather pay more for a ticket they be forced to buy a drink.
